Our fifth graders have been hard at work planning and creating models of solid, liquid, and gases at the particle level.

Students and staff worked hard to honor our veterans at today's assembly! Thank you to all who have served in our nation's military.

Our Fundraiser Week ended with a bang, literally! Thank you to all the students, families, and volunteers for such a fabulous fun week, but most of all, thank you to the donors who helped us raise way above our goal of $25,000!

This morning our wonderful Speech Language Pathologist, Mrs. Laurie Brown, was named Clegern's Teacher of the Year! We announced it this morning at CCT, and her family was on hand to celebrate her nomination. Congratulations Mrs. Brown!

Even with our busy week, we still had time to Celebrate our newest members of the Frog and Toad fan club! See Friday's newsletter for a link to the complete photo gallery!

It's been a busy week at Clegern, and it is not over yet! Online sales for raffle tickets continue through Sunday. Winners will be announced Friday.

Clegern's students and staff were enthralled by Lyric Interactive's visit to our school. We learned about Rodgers and Hammerstein's musical, The Sound of Music. Thank you #LyricsMusicalInteractive!

Our Lost and Found (aka end-of-semester donation pile) is already collecting items this year. Make sure your child's items don't join the collection by putting their name on all their belongings so that they may be returned when found. Thanks!

Summer Reading 2024 is in the books (pun intended!) Fifty-six students and a dozen parent volunteers had a blast this morning celebrating all the reading these students did over the summer. We played games, handed out prizes, and had a snack! Way to go, Clegern Readers, and thank you parent volunteers!

Did anyone #OutReadMrsFoster this summer? We stretched out a string to show how many minutes were read (1 mm per minute), and 14 people challenged Mrs. Foster. They read 62,614 minutes all together, but no one person outread Mrs. Foster's 14,567 minutes. That's still a lot of reading! Way to go, Clegern Cougars!

Frog and Toad visited Clegern today.... I wonder what they are here for?

Clegern's new Kindergarten classes attended their first CCT today!

We had a great first day at Clegern, welcoming old friends and meeting our newest Clegern Cougars for the first time! It's going to be a great year!
