Clegern students and families are encouraged to review the Internet Safety Week and Family Media Plan to get the conversation going about Internet Safety! Mrs. Morris and Ms. Sawyer will be sharing lessons about digital safety during the month of November. Clegern parent, Renee Grau, has initiated a community event for parents only on Nov. 14th at 7 p.m. located at Crossings School, Performing Arts Center (OKC Campus) 14400 N. Portland. To help spark conversations at home, we have created a way for students to earn a Cyber Smart Spirit Stick. Students can complete the Family Media Plan at home, and return their commitment slip to their classroom teacher for a spirit stick. This is not required or mandatory, just encouraged. The main purpose is to spark conversation among families, and through guidance and in the library we will share age-appropriate Internet safety lessons at school. Email Mrs. Morris with any questions. Clegern Cougars are Cyber Smart!
