Ms. Ann Goetz has taught students in kindergarten through fifth grade and enjoys teaching fourth grade the best. After graduating from Marymount College with a degree in Elementary Education, she began her teaching career in western Kansas in 1981. She taught kindergarten, first, second or third grade for six years. Then she moved to Topeka, Kansas, and taught first grade for five years and fourth grade for two years. Ms. Goetz moved back to Oklahoma in 1994 and began teaching at Will Rogers Elementary here in Edmond. She taught there for six years and then began teaching at Clegern in 2000. She feels fortunate to have taught both fifth and third grade at Clegern. She has been a Clegern fourth grade teacher since 2006. Ms. Goetz enjoys learning and believes it is important for her to continue her professional development. She has her Early Childhood Certification, a Master’s degree, and became a National Board Certified Teacher in 2002. Ms. Goetz believes it is important for her to help each child be successful in their own way.
