“If I could change the world, I would…?” This is the question posed to many of our students. Their answers are just incredible. One of the most profound answers was to simply “share.” From Nov. 4-14th, Clegern students are able to make a difference by sharing with our friends at Shidler Elementary. Shidler Elementary is located in the 2nd highest poverty area of our state where 99 percent of the students are on the free and reduced lunch program. This year, our school is providing Family Care Packages with a purpose to provide family activities and meet specific needs. The goal is to foster community, family activities, and instill pride with items that most families cannot purchase over and beyond their monthly budget. A letter was sent home with every child on Nov. 3 explaining the full project.
